Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Nurse – Virginia
Start Date: ASAP (dependent on EPIC training schedule)
Location: Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week, 13-week assignment. Six weekend shifts per six-week schedule.

- 36-bed unit including 8 express care beds serving patients from neonate through geriatric populations
- Level II Trauma Center; Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center with 24/7 interventional cardiology

- EPIC charting system (experience preferred; training provided based on proficiency)
- Opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment with diverse clinical experiences
Requirements:
- Active Virginia state nursing license or valid Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Experience with arterial line management, ventilated patients, central line care, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation
- Proficiency in triage, dysrhythmia management, and isolation precautions
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- Flu vaccination required during flu season (October 1 – March 31); medical exemptions considered
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered per CMS guidelines)
