**Job Description:**
- **Location:** Emergency Department
- **Shift:** 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- **Duration:** 16 Week Holiday Coverage
- **Unit Size:** 101 Beds

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.
- Engage in effective teamwork and display a positive attitude.
- Maintain patient experience standards utilizing AIDET and respectful communication.
**Unit Specifics:**
- **Patient Ratios:** Typically 4:1, up to 7:1 on behavioral holds
- **Unit Staff Support:** Access to technicians, triage, and unit clerks
- **Technology:** Work with advanced equipment including Baxter pumps and GE monitors
- **Documentation System:** Cerner
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1-year in an Emergency Room setting
- Current Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- CPI (prior to hire)
- NIHSS
- Flexibility to float within all sections of the ED
**Dress Code:**
- Navy scrubs required
