# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Virginia
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week, every other weekend required
Highlights:- 25-bed Emergency Department with 4:1 patient ratios (may increase to 5:1 during surge periods)
- Modern equipment including GE monitors, Baxter pumps, and Zoll travel monitors
- MediTech Expanse documentation system (transitioning in July)
- Supportive unit structure with unit secretaries and PCTs when staffing allows
- Full spectrum of ED competencies and procedures
- 13-week travel assignment with competitive benefits
Requirements:- Active RN license in Virginia or compact state eligibility
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- ENPC, CPI certifications preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in ED competencies and procedures
- Navy blue scrubs required
