# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – VirginiaStart Date: September 21, 2026

Schedule: Rotating shifts with every other weekend; at least one Friday and one Monday per four-week schedule. Patient ratio 1:4. No on-call required.Highlights:- 22-bed Emergency Department with vertical space expansion capability and approximately 50 staff members- Work with Phillips & GE Monitors, Level 1 Rapid Infuser, and Meditech (EDM) EMR system- Hands-on experience with cardioversions, central line placements, cardiac arrests, pacemaker interrogation, and Code Stroke/Sepsis protocols- Collaborative team environment with day shift staffing of 1 Charge RN, 5-6 nurses, 1 tech, and 1 medic- Opportunity to float to a freestanding emergency department approximately 15 minutes away- Scrubs provided: Teal top with black or teal bottomsRequirements:- Active Virginia RN license (or ability to obtain)- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications required- Strong IV skills with both adult and pediatric populations (required)- Excellent communication skills- Trauma experience and TNCC certification preferred- Meditech experience preferredWhy It's a Great Opportunity:This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic emergency department where you'll manage diverse cases including cardiac events, trauma protocols, and critical interventions.
