# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – South Texas**Start Date:** June 29, 2026 **Location:** Corpus Christi, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Day or Night Shift available; 4:1 patient ratio; 12-bed Emergency Department with strong team support including ER Techs and Unit Secretary coverage**Highlights:** - High-acuity, fast-paced Emergency Department caring for STEMI, Stroke/TPA, and RSI patients- Recognized for exceptional performance: fastest bed assignment times in the Gulf Coast Division and 12-minute door-to-needle TPA- Work alongside experienced ED staff (6–8 team members per shift) in a collaborative, high-energy environment- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system in place; preferred scrub color is royal blue- Comprehensive team support with dedicated ER Techs and Unit Secretaries on both shifts- Ideal for RNs with strong neuro and cardiac assessment skills looking for a challenging, rewarding assignment**Requirements:** - Active and unencumbered Texas RN license or compact license- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience as a Registered Nurse- Current BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, CPI, and TNCC certifications required- Strong clinical skills in neuro and cardiac patient populations preferred- Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This Emergency Department is a recognized leader in acute care, delivering some of the fastest critical intervention times in the region.
