The position requires working 3 twelve-hour shifts. Average patient ratio is 1:6. Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is preferred. First-time travelers are accepted. Assigned to one campus with possible rotation to others. Travelers will not be assigned to trauma or rescue rooms. Float to other units may be required. Daily patient census averages around 30. The unit handles a variety of patient diagnoses and emergencies. Experience with charting systems is preferred. Candidates should be prepared to manage a wide range of medical conditions. Skills in emergency medications and advanced patient care are vital. This role requires a strong ability to handle critical and trauma cases.
