- Flexibility to float to inpatient units
Description:
The Emergency Registered Nurse will provide care in a fast-paced emergency department.
A minimum of one year of RN experience is required.
Triage experience is preferred.
Experience with Level I or Level II trauma is preferred.
The ability to float to inpatient units is required, depending on staffing needs.
The shifts will be 3x12 hours in the evening or night.
Every other weekend availability is expected.
No on-call shifts are required.
Patient ratios are 1:3.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Proof of the application for a pending license should be submitted with the profile.
Finalized requests for time off must be included.
No time off is permitted within the first week of the start date.
No more than 10 days of time off are allowed per assignment.
The facility serves various patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics.
Daily census is approximately 186 patients.
Various interdisciplinary support services are available in the department.
Additional requirements include completing necessary lab work and fingerprinting in a timely manner.
Travelers will be required to work holidays as needed by the facility.
