Basic Dysrhythmia test must be passed to work in the Emergency Department. Description: The Emergency Room RN is responsible for identifying patient needs and priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Provides direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting. Able to triage patients safely, rapidly, and accurately upon entry into the emergency care system. Coordinates care between other professional disciplines as needed. The traveler may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, the traveler is expected to respond and arrive on-site within one hour. A Basic Dysrhythmia test will be administered during the first week of assignment. Passing this test is required to work in the Emergency Department. Every other weekend rotation and every other holiday are required. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Certification. Experience with Epic EMR is essential.
