TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55432!

Job Title: ER RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day or Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty License: Current RN license Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Cardiac monitoring and emergency response experience Description: The position is for an ER RN working in a Mental Health Suite. The shift times are either 07:00 or 19:00. Patient ratios are 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. Staff will be required to work every third weekend. Candidates must have experience in IV therapy, including starting IVs. The facility is an acute care hospital with a teaching designation and Level 4 trauma. Additional responsibilities may include floating within the facility as needed. Patient care will involve various age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily census averages around 125 visits. Client staff includes interdisciplinary support teams such as IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and rapid response teams. Candidates must understand the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Familiarity with charting systems is required. Travelers should note that all background checks must clear before starting work.
