Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years in fast-paced emergency room setting, first-time travelers accepted with strong experience License: Active state RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, TNCC Must-Have: - Emergency room experience - Strong assessment and critical thinking skills - Ability to manage multiple patient needs Description: The registered nurse will work in the emergency room during night shifts. The nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care to a diverse patient population. The patient ratio is typically 1:4, increasing to up to 5 with lower acuity patients. The RN will administer medications and perform emergency procedures as needed. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for optimal patient outcomes. Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs. Every other weekend and holiday shifts are mandatory. Candidates should be experienced in handling critical situations and emergencies. Skills in managing acute conditions, performing triage, and interpreting diagnostic tests are essential.
