Description:
This position is for a registered nurse in the emergency room.
The unit is a large, high-acuity emergency department with 80 treatment spaces.
It features a modern environment with a collaborative and supportive team.
The leadership focuses on high-quality patient care.
Specialized geriatric emergency care is a key component of this unit.
The department is accredited for geriatric emergency care.
The shift is nights with a 12-hour rotation between 3 PM to 3 AM and 7 PM to 7 AM.
The schedule includes working 36 hours per week.
There is a requirement for one weekend shift per contracted week.
Working at least one holiday per contract is expected.
Blocked scheduling can be requested.
Fixed block schedules must be Thursday/Friday/Saturday, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, or Saturday/Sunday/Monday.
On-call is not required but is highly recommended.
On-call shifts may be available in 4, 8, 12, or 16-hour blocks.
Shifts for on-call occur between 7 PM and 7 AM.
Charting is done using EPIC.
