Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Emergency Department care to join their team in Oklahoma. This travel assignment offers the opportunity to provide critical emergency healthcare to patients of all ages, handling everything from minor injuries to severe trauma. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ED Emergency Department - Travel- Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognizing, identifying, and interpreting serious situations.
- Initiate appropriate measures in emergency situations when the physician is not available.
- Operate and monitor emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps and cardiac monitors.
- Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed by the physician.
- Record observations, nursing interventions, and the status of coordinated activities.
- Document specific health care requirements and prepare written assignments for team members.
- Plan and develop care delivery and coordinate documentation of care.
- Sustain adequate supplies and equipment and ensure a safe environment.
Requirements of the RN - ED Emergency Department - Travel- Minimum of 3 years experience in an emergency care setting.
- Possess and maintain a Board of Nursing approved Oklahoma or Compact/Multi-State RN License.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Meet pre-employment credentialing clearances (Background Check, Drug Screen, etc.).
- Ability to meet physical demands (stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl), and lift up to 50lbs.
