Job Description – RN (Registered Nurse), ER (Emergency Room)
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7p–7:30a)

Unit Notes:

• 17 beds/trauma bays (flex to 22 with hallway beds if staffing allows)
• Fast-track through triage lobby; separate triage area — travelers may triage if experienced
• ER holds intermixed within the ER (no separate holding area); ED nurse is primary
• 4 designated psych/seclusion rooms
• Security in-house 24/7
• ~66 patients treated per day; ratio 1:4
• Common diagnoses: Stroke, STEMI, sepsis, chest pain, psychosis, heavy behavioral health population; rare pediatric cases (treat and transfer)
• Common drips: Insulin, cardiac drips, sedation, critical drips
• ED Physicians and Mid-Levels both present
