Upon arrival, unless immediate medical attention is required, patients will be promptly screened by an Emergency Department Nurse.

This assessment helps determine the severity of the condition and the appropriate course of treatment. The Emergency Department is fully staffed around the clock and serves a significant number of patient visits each year. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted prior to submission and will not be approved after submission. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Travelers must ensure they have voicemail set up on their phones. Travelers may not take all holidays off. Profile submissions must include work history and a skills checklist current to 1 year. Supervisory references from within the past two years of employment are required. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests made after submission may lead to rescinded offers.
