# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – North CarolinaStart Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend required; must be flexible to meet department needs; no block schedulingHighlights:- Join a 101-bed Emergency Department serving as the region's Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center- High-volume facility with over 100,000 annual visits, featuring advanced robotic surgery programs and specialized cardiac care- Work with state-of-the-art technology including Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and Cerner documentation system- 4:1 patient ratios for medical cases; support from dedicated techs, unit clerks, and cardiac monitoring specialists- Facility recognized nationally with top clinical quality honors and healthcare safety awards- Part of a Magnet-designated hospital with excellent nursing excellence standardsRequirements:- Active Registered Nurse license- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting- Experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ annual visits) preferred- Current certifications required before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS- ENPC certification within 90 days of hire- Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department- Strong teamwork mentality and ability to provide real-time coaching and feedbackWhy It's a Great Opportunity:This Emergency Department is renowned for its collaborative team culture and welcoming environment.
