Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Colorado

Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts. Patient ratio varies based on acuity, typically 4:1.

- 18-bed Emergency Department in a recently converted hospital-based ED with increased resources and expanded services
- Access to on-site respiratory therapy, house supervisor, laboratory services, and comprehensive radiology services (CT, MRI, Echo, X-ray, Ultrasound)
- State-of-the-art equipment including LifePak, Lucas, Philips, and GE technology
- EMR System: Meditech
- Collaborative team environment with 2 RNs per night shift and strong teamwork culture
- Typical procedures include IV insertion, EKG, Foley catheter placement, splinting, wound infiltration, wound care, medication administration, and patient assessments
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care Emergency Department RN experience required
- Active RN license in good standing
- BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required
- CPI Blue Card certification required
- Experience working in a large hospital setting preferred
- Prior Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred
