Job Description:
- Seeking an experienced ER RN to join a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
- Enjoy the opportunity to work mid-shifts with two schedule options: 0900-2130 or 1030-2300.
- Requirements include active WI RN licensure and a range of essential certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, PALS,
- NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS.
- AHA Provider Level certification is required to start for BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Potential to work at a second Emergency Department location.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Leverage the nursing process while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to care for patients.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in alignment with approved nursing techniques, policies, and state laws.
- Document care according to established standards.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care.
- Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as directed by physicians and clinic policies.
- Actively participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance.
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support patients’ longitudinal care plans.
- Utilize critical thinking to enhance patient safety and experience, effectively communicating with the appropriate chain of command.
- Engage in professional nursing continuum processes, including unit practice and peer review activities.
