Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,293 per week in Augusta, GA

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours guaranteed per week; every other weekend required; holiday coverage as assigned based on contract length

Highlights:

• High-volume Emergency Department with 59 beds averaging 165-175 patients daily
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 across all shifts
• Epic EMR system utilized facility-wide (required experience)
• High-acuity setting with Stroke and STEMI certification
• Patient population includes neonates through geriatrics
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract; blackout dates apply during Spring Break (April 4-12)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Active travel nursing experience REQUIRED – candidates with at least 3 completed ER travel contracts strongly preferred
• Epic charting system experience REQUIRED (hard stop)
• Georgia RN license or compact license required at time of submission
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS required
• TNCC and SANE certifications preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
