Description:
Emergency Room RN position available for night shifts.
This role requires a commitment to 36 hours per week with every other weekend worked.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:4, with the possibility of up to 1:5 or 1:6 in lower acuity situations.
The unit manages a daily census of approximately 200 patients and caters to a wide age range, from neonates to geriatrics.
This is a high-volume, fast-paced emergency room setting.
Nurses will be required to float within the specialty and may also be assigned to an observation unit within the ER.
No pre-scheduled on-call shifts are required.
It is essential to adhere to required weekend and holiday schedules as they fall.
The facility employs an electronic medical record system preferred to be EPIC.
Candidates must be comfortable with various emergency scenarios and possess the ability to handle complex diagnoses.
Travelers must comply with all necessary onboarding procedures.
This position requires a commitment to the overall care and management of patients of all ages presenting with diverse medical conditions.
