Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Emergency Department) – Maryland

Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Randallstown, Maryland
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Rotating shifts with every other weekend required; holiday coverage during contract period

Highlights:

  • 54-bed Emergency Department serving approximately 120 patient visits daily across all age groups including neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
  • Primary Stroke Center with Gold Plus recognition from the American Heart Association
  • Patient ratio experience of 1:4 to 1:6; support for two locked Behavioral Health units within the ED with security team assistance
  • Two rapid evaluation units for urgent care and critical care needs with rapid medical screenings
  • Charting system: Cerner with FirstNet and Launch
  • One pre-approved time-off request permitted per contract

Requirements:

  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license required at time of submission
  • Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience required (may consider 2 years of Level I or Level II trauma experience)
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS required
  • Prophecy Relias Advanced Emergency Department assessment required
  • 4 hours of annual stroke continuing education required
  • CEN certification preferred
  • Precepting and training experience preferred
  • Ability to float within scope to like units including rapid evaluation units
  • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
