Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Maryland

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with weekend coverage required (6 weekend shifts per contract period). 4:1 patient ratio across all shifts. Approximately 20 orientation hours provided. Holiday and weekend shifts expected.

- One-year travel contract with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services
- EPIC electronic medical record system utilized throughout facility
- Diverse case mix including trauma, stroke, STEMI, CVA, gunshot wounds, and critical care patients
- Two pre-approved time-off periods available during contract
Requirements:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale (pending certification acceptable at time of submission)
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system required
- Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patients, blood product administration, central line care, IV sedation, vasopressors, procedural sedation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and triage
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with no exemptions; 2-step PPD required
- Candidates must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility
