**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse (RN) - ED!**
**Job Description:**

- Work in a fast-paced environment where your skills will be put to the test in various trauma situations.
- Quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with diverse physical and mental health needs.
- Prioritize injuries and medical conditions to deliver effective nursing care plans.
**Required Skills & Experience:**
- Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience in an ED setting.
- Recent ED experience within the past six months.
- Strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities for effective patient assessment.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
**Required Certifications & Licenses:**
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
- BLS-AHA certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Telemetry certification.
- PALS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours (4 trauma CEUs).
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- ASN required; BSN preferred.
**Schedule Details:**
- Shift: 7P-7A
- Hours per week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Float Requirement: May float to the 12 BED Satellite ED (part of OUMC)
