TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Glen Burnie, Maryland, 21061!

Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of Emergency Department experience required; first-time travelers accepted with strong ED experience License: Active state RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, CPI required Must-Have: - ER Ratio: 1:4, up to 5 with lower acuity - Patient Age Range: Neonates to Geriatrics - Patient Diagnoses: High volume, fast-paced, non-trauma ER with multiple complex diagnoses - Floating required within specialty, including the observation unit as needed Description: This position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. Shift is 3x12 hours on nights from 19:00 to 07:30. Must work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled. Duties include managing patients of all ages with diverse diagnoses. The average daily census is about 200, in a facility with 66 rooms. The nurse may be assigned to a 10-bed observation unit with a patient ratio of 1:5, up to 6 with lower acuity. Floating within the specialty and observation unit is required. No pre-scheduled on-call shifts are required. Submit to compliance document deadlines prior to start. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and CPI. Candidates must have experience charting in Epic. Ability to provide comprehensive emergency care is essential. The facility provides interdisciplinary support including IV teams and respiratory services. Patient diagnoses encompass a wide range of emergency medical conditions. This role demands strong clinical skills and the capability to work in a high-pressure environment. Candidates should demonstrate effective communication and teamwork abilities.
