  • 22-bed Freestanding Emergency Department with a collaborative team of 23 staff members
  • 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio ensuring quality care delivery
  • Emergency procedures include IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedations, and splinting
  • EMR system transitioning from Meditech Magic to Meditech Expanse for enhanced technology experience
  • Advanced emergency equipment including defibrillators, Hamilton ventilators, and bedside cardiac monitoring
  • Potential for floating to additional sites as needed to expand skillset
Requirements:
  • Active Texas RN License
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
  • Emergency nursing experience strongly preferred
  • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) are preferred
