Description:
ED RN required for a busy emergency department.
Average daily census of 130-150 patients.
Unit has 21 rooms and 31 beds.
Patient age groups include neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 or 1:5.
Weekend coverage required every other Friday and Saturday night.
Medication system utilized is Omnicell.
Documentation system is Cerner.
Community hospital caring for complex medical patients of all age groups.
Candidates should possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate must be familiar with emergency procedures and treatments.
Experience in pediatric emergency care is a plus.
Applicant must demonstrate proficiency in managing various emergency conditions and patient assessments.
Skills in BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and IV management are essential.
Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy.
