Key Responsibilities of the RN - Emergency Department

• Provide direct nursing care in a busy emergency room setting
• Perform RSI, sepsis interventions, and stroke protocols with tPA administration
• Manage central line placements and the care of psychiatric patients
• Facilitate transfers to other facilities in compliance with EMTALA

Requirements of the RN - Emergency Department

• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred
• Must have completed 2-3 travel assignments
• 2-3 years of ER experience required
• Experience with high acuity and fast paced ER settings preferred
