TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Shakopee, Minnesota, 55379!

Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Pending License accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience - Charting system experience Description: Position available for an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. Shift schedule is 3x12 nights. Candidates accepted with a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Weekend requirement is up to every other weekend. Candidates may be placed on call as needed for the department. This position does not require floating to meet facility needs. Block scheduling accommodations are not available, but the scheduler will work with you. Locals are not accepted; a 100-mile radius restriction applies. Maximum of 5 days of requested time off is preferred. The facility is an acute care hospital with a total of 63 staffed beds. The charting system used is Epic. Daily visits in the emergency department average around 110. The patient demographic includes all age groups from neonates to geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Special procedures include moderate sedation, trauma codes, and medical alerts. The facility has a focus on a variety of patient diagnoses including trauma and mental health. Candidates must provide one supervisor reference. Compliance requirements include background checks and fingerprinting. This role includes working with a high volume of pediatric patients and emergency cases.
