Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 2 years preferred, but will consider 1 year of experience with strong skills in emergency care License: Active state RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, NIHSS Must-Have: Strong experience in emergency care, ability to manage complex and varied patient diagnoses Description: Emergency Room Registered Nurse needed for a night shift position. The role requires experience in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Responsibilities include managing patients of all ages with various diagnoses. Nights involve working three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the specialty as needed. Patient ratios are approximately 1:4. Strong skills in critical care and emergency procedures are essential. Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, is preferred. The unit provides interdisciplinary support from various services including respiratory and social services. This position may involve participation in advanced emergency procedures and care of critically ill patients. Travel experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Candidates must be prepared for a comprehensive onboarding process with required compliance documentation.
