Description:
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room cares for patients of all age groups presenting with a variety of illnesses, injuries, or trauma.
The nurse specializes in assessing, intervening, and stabilizing patients in critical situations.
Critical clinical decision-making skills are essential for this role.
The successful candidate will complete a competency-based orientation program to gain proficiency in emergency services.
The unit comprises 31 rooms, utilizing specific tools for medication management and patient care.
Floating to other units may be required based on patient needs.
Travelers who have previously been employed by this facility are not eligible for this position.
Medical and religious exemptions for vaccinations are allowed.
The employed individual will be involved in patient care services, requiring strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
The unit serves a diverse patient population and encompasses various emergencies, necessitating comprehensive care skills.
Familiarity with blood product administration, IV placement, and triage is beneficial.
This role requires knowledge and application of emergency protocols and procedures.
