Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse

• Provide direct care to patients experiencing medical emergencies
• Manage and stabilize patients with acute conditions
• Administer medications and perform critical nursing interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Utilize and maintain emergency department equipment effectively

Requirements of the Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse

• Active RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
