  • 16-bed emergency department with hall chairs serving ESI levels 1-5, typical patient ratio 1:4 for low acuity patients
  • Collaborative team environment with 6-7 staff members per shift including charge nurse, triage nurse, and support staff
  • Facility transitioning from Level IV to Level II trauma hospital designation
  • Meditech EMR system with integrated vital signs documentation
  • Strong focus on patient satisfaction and timely care for stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and trauma patients

Requirements:
  • Active Texas RN license or compact state license
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certification required
  • TNCC certification required
  • Level II or Level III trauma experience required
  • EMTALA training completion (provided upon hire)
  • Minimum two years of emergency department experience preferred
  • CEN, TCRN, or CPI certification preferred
