Schedule: Day and night shift options available; 4:1 patient ratio; support from Emergency Department Technicians and Unit Secretaries

- High-acuity emergency department with 12-bed capacity treating STEMI, stroke/TPA, and rapid sequence intubation (RSI) cases
- Recognized for fastest door-to-needle TPA time and bed assignment efficiency in the division
- Experienced, tenured team of 6-8 staff members per shift providing collaborative, fast-paced care
- Day shift includes 5-7 RNs, 1 ER Tech, and unit secretary support; night shift includes 5-6 RNs with similar support
- EMR system in place to support clinical documentation and workflow
- Preferred scrub color is royal blue, professional and team-oriented environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience as a Registered Nurse
- Active RN license eligible for Texas
- Current BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, CPI, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong assessment and intervention skills in neurological and cardiac emergencies preferred
- Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
