License: Active state nursing license required (state or compact)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
Must-Have: Clinicians should be prepared to use strong critical-thinking skills.
Clinicians should be able to adapt to the available resources.
A well-rounded clinical approach is essential across a variety of responsibilities.
Traveler will complete a telemetry test onsite, typically during orientation.
Traveler will have 2 attempts to pass the telemetry test.
Failure to pass after the second attempt will result in contract cancellation.
Experience in interpreting and managing heart rhythm changes is required.
Care for critically ill patients with multi-organ issues is necessary.
Administering blood products is a required skill.
Experience in managing central lines and starting and maintaining IVs is essential.
Traveler must have experience administering IV sedation and vasopressors.
Care for stroke patients is necessary.
Care for ventilated patients is required.
Managing BiPAP/CPAP and interpreting arterial blood gases are essential skills.
Following isolation precautions is necessary.
Performing triage is required.
All requested time off must be submitted with the application.
No time off will be approved after the offer.
Traveler must arrange coverage for any additional shifts if needed.
No disciplinary issues on nursing license are allowed.
