Job Description** - **Position:** Travel RN - Emergency Department - **Location:** Tomball, Texas - **Unit Information:** - Number of Beds: 24 - Staff Count: 54 - Patient Ratios: 1:4 - **Shift Details:** - Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM - Contract Length: 13 Weeks - **Staffing Overview:** - Day Shift: - 1 Charge Nurse - 4 RNs - 1 Paramedic - 1-3 Sitters - Night Shift: - 1 Charge Nurse - 4 RNs - 1 Paramedic - 1-3 Sitters - **Equipment Utilized:** - Level 1 - Lucas - Welch Allen Vital Sign Machines - GE Bedside Monitors - EKG Machines - **EMR System:** Meditech - **Preferred Skill Set:** - **Must Have:** - ACLS - PALS or ENPC - **Preferred:** - TNCC - ATCN/CEN Certification - **Typical Procedures Performed:** - Acute care and assessment of ER patients - IV initiation - Blood collection and transfusions - Medication administration - Resuscitation of adults and pediatric patients - Care for behavioral health patients - Assist with intubation and splinting - Restraint application and moderate sedation - **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - Enjoys a family-like atmosphere - Team-oriented and flexible for various roles (triage, resus rooms, etc.) - **Required Certifications:** - ACLS - BLS - PALS or ENPC - **Floating Area(s):** None - **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Royal Blue Scrubs - **Weekend Requirements:** - Minimum of 2 weekends per month - No on-call duties - **Years of Experience Required:** 1 **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
