Join our dynamic team at the North Channel FSED, where you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Travel RN for a 13-week assignment from 3 PM to 3 AM. Here’s what you can expect:
- **Unit Information:**
- Number of Beds: 22
- Number of Staff: 23
- Patient Ratios: 1:4
- Equipment: Splinting, defibrillator, Hamilton Vent, Welch Allyn, Bedside Cardiac Monitoring
- EMR: Meditech Magic transitioning to Meditech Expanse
- **Typical Hiring Profile:**
- **Must Have:**
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- NIHSS
- CPI
- RN License
- **Preferred:**
- ENPC
- NRP
- **Typical Procedures Performed:**
- IV Starts
- Blood Draws
- Moderate Sedations
- Splinting
- **Ideal Candidate Traits:**
- Teamwork oriented
- Patient Experience Focus
- **Key Details:**
- Floating Area: Fairmont FSED (if needed)
- Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs, closed-toed shoes (no crocs), No false nails, air pods, or meta glasses. Stethoscope required for assessments.
- **Guidelines:**
- Regulatory Guidelines per Joint Commission: No food and drinks at the nurse’s station
- Weekends: As needed or every other weekend (based on preference)
- On Call: None
- **Experience Required:**
- Minimum of 1 year
