### Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team!
**Job Description:**
- **Location:** Emergency Department
- **Address:** 509 Biltmore Avenue
- **Unit Name:** ER
- **Number of Beds:** 101
- **Patient Ratios:**
- 4:1 typically for medical patients
- Up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds
- **Unit Staffing Description:**
- Techs available for cardiac monitoring and internal processing
- Triage staffing and unit clerks available both days and nights
- **Equipment:**
- Baxter pumps
- GE monitors
- **Documentation System:** Cerner
- **Scheduling Requirements:**
- Rotating shift every other weekend
- Flexible scheduling to meet departmental needs
- **Floating Policy:**
- No floating outside of the ED
- Must be open to floating within all sections of the ED
- **Patient Experience Requirements:**
- AIDET principles
- Respectful behavior
- Keeping patients updated throughout their visit
- **Certifications Required (before starting date):**
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- CPI
- NIHSS
- ENPC (within 90 days of hire)
**Hiring Profile:**
- **Requested Skill Set:**
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an ER setting
- Experience in a Level 2 trauma center or high-volume ED (> 100,000 visits)
- Teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and provide real-time feedback
- Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED
- **Dress Code:**
- Navy scrubs
