Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC Must-Have: Recent experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Emergency Room required. Driver's license required. Artificial nails are prohibited for patient care roles. Passing an open book exam during orientation is mandatory. Description: Join our team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment with high acuity cases. You will care for patients with trauma, sepsis, chest pain, shortness of breath, and strokes. The emergency department features 20 beds, including trauma and observation beds. You will work closely with a team of physicians and mid-level providers. There is a charge nurse on each shift to support staff. Patient care assistants, EMTs, and paramedics will be available to assist nurses. Registered nurses must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips. Floating to various areas within the emergency department will be required. Weekend and holiday shifts may be varied based on departmental needs. Candidates must provide upfront time-off requests.
