Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Location: Jackson, Tennessee

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Minimum of two weekends per month as needed. Holiday requirement includes working one of the following: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day. No call required, overtime available.
Highlights:
- High-volume emergency department with 60 beds and approximately 250 visits per day
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2-4 depending on area assignment
- Epic EMR system with required competency validation
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
- Full-spectrum emergency care for all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
- 36-hour orientation program with one opportunity for pre-approved time off
Requirements:
- Active Tennessee or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS (must be in hand at submission)
- Preferred certifications: TNCC or PHTLS
- Epic EMR experience within the past 18 months required and must be documented on profile
- Must pass Epic competency exam on-site (one attempt allowed)
- Ultrasound IV experience preferred but not required
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
