Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Mid Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years. License: WI RN or Compact RN license required. Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS - AHA ONLY, TNCC required. Must-Have: Epic experience required. Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to starting. Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only. Description: Evening/Nights, 12-hour shifts include weekends and holidays. The position requires recent experience in an Emergency Department setting. The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with various medical conditions. Common patient diagnoses may include abdominal pain, acute psychosis, and trauma cases. The Emergency Department provides comprehensive emergency care to a high volume of patients annually. It serves as a critical entry point to the health system, ensuring rapid stabilization of patients. The department is designated for timely, evidence-based care across all ages. The facility is equipped with numerous exam rooms and vertical care spaces to accommodate patient flow. The team closely coordinates with emergency services for seamless patient care. ED nursing staff also serve as a rapid response team within the facility. Travelers may be required to float to different areas as needed. Minimum experience for travelers is two years of acute care experience in the specialty. A telemetry exam will be required with specific passing criteria outlined.
