Description

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Mid Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years. License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS (AHA only), TNCC required Must-Have: Epic experience required Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to start. Description: Eve/Night shifts available. Weekend and holiday rotation required. High acuity Emergency Department serving local and regional patients. Provide comprehensive care supported by a full team of subspecialists. Each year, the department handles more than 60,000 urgent and emergent cases. Designated as a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. Provide rapid, evidence-based treatment for complex conditions. Support programs in ECMO, transplant, oncology, and burn care. Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more. Handle patient diagnoses such as high acuity emergencies, trauma, and complex medical conditions. Must have experience managing high patient loads and performing critical procedures. Maintain knowledge of emergency medications and treatment protocols. Manage care for neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics. Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to float to different areas as required. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in acute care responsibilities. Passing the telemetry exam with a score of 80% or higher is mandatory. Two attempts will be allowed for the exam, and failure to pass may result in cancellation of the assignment.
