Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – West Virginia

Schedule: 36 hours weekly, night shift 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM with weekend rotations
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment in a 7-bed Emergency Department with a daily census of 27 patients
- 3:1 patient ratio across all shifts providing quality patient care
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
- Cerner charting system with 48 hours of orientation
- Diverse patient population spanning all age groups from infants to geriatrics
- Up to two pre-approved time off periods available during contract
Requirements:
- Active and unencumbered West Virginia RN License or valid Compact License (pending license accepted for submission)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association (AHA); TNCC preferred
- Proficiency in rapid assessment, triage, trauma management, and advanced life support across various medical conditions
- Expert-level IV access and emergency interventions skills
- Minimum 2 Manager or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years
- Permanent address must be 100+ miles from facility location
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccination not required

Additional Information:
Orientation is held every other Monday. Online modules are required prior to start date (non-billable, approximately 2-6 hours completion time).
