The facility serves a community with a diverse patient population. RNs will manage a variety of cases, including trauma, respiratory diseases, and behavioral health. The department features a 55-bed capacity, including trauma bays and swing beds. Patients are typically treated in a ratio of 4:1 in the main emergency department. The role may involve additional responsibilities upon completion of orientation. RNs are expected to transport critical patients as necessary. Shifts will include every other weekend and holiday requirements. There is no on-call or standby requirement for this role. The facility has a designated triage area, separate from the main emergency room. RNs manage their own holds for patients requiring longer stays.
