Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse - Travel

Job Summary

This is an exciting 13-week travel assignment for an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The successful candidate will join a dynamic surgical team, providing expert nursing care to a diverse patient population undergoing various surgical procedures. This role requires a highly skilled and adaptable professional capable of circulating and/or scrubbing for complex cases.

The primary focus of this assignment will be on neurosurgical, orthopedic, and robotic-assisted procedures. We are seeking a versatile OR RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Lawrenceville, GA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures in the Operating Room.
  • Perform duties as a circulating and/or scrub nurse for a variety of surgical specialties.
  • Ensure patient safety, advocate for patient needs, and maintain a sterile environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies.
  • Assist with patient positioning, skin preparation, and draping.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and physiological responses during surgery.
  • Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent, acute care experience as an Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated expertise and proficiency in neurosurgical, orthopedic, and robotic-assisted surgical cases.
  • Ability to adapt to varying surgical schedules and patient acuities.
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Lawrenceville, Georgia.
