Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at Northside Hospital Forsyth Outpatient Surgery Center, located in Cumming, Georgia. This role is crucial for providing exceptional perioperative care to patients undergoing a diverse range of surgical procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate comprehensive expertise across various surgical specialties, including but not limited to robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastics, and gynecology. A strong background with significant experience in GYN, plastics, and prostate biopsy procedures is highly valued. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative phase in the operating room.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies, ensuring a sterile and safe environment.
- Monitor patient's physiological status during surgery and intervene as necessary.
- Assist with patient positioning, skin preparation, and surgical draping.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent, acute care experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse.
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Cumming, Georgia, to qualify for this travel assignment.

Shift Details
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Hours: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
- Shift Duration: 8 hours per day
- Days per Week: 5
- Contract Length: 16 weeks
- Assignment Dates: September 14, 2026 - January 2, 2027
- Holiday Requirements: Must work two (2) major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one (1) minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).

Licensing Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or a compact state license with eligibility for Georgia endorsement.
