**Job Description:**
- **Position**: Contract RN - Emergency Room
- **Duration**: 13 Weeks
- **Shift**: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- **Call Requirements**: None
- **Weekends**: Rotating
**Unit Overview**:
- **Number of Beds**:
- 48 private rooms
- 27 hallway stretchers
- 9 fast track
- 5 behavioral health
- **Number of Staff**: 111
- **Staff Types for Night Shift**:
- Charge Nurse
- 11 additional nurses
- 2 Patient Care Technicians
- 1 Paramedic
- 1 LVN
**Patient Ratios**:
- 1:4 ED
- 1:5 Behavioral Health
- 1:3 Cardiac/Trauma
**Equipment**:
- Alaris pumps
- Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers
- Stryker stretchers
- EMR: MEDITECH
**Essential Skills Required**:
- ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
**Preferred Skills**:
- Meditech experience
- Trauma experience
- Inpatient experience
- CPI certification
**Typical Procedures**:
- Splinting
- EKGs
- Central monitoring
- Trauma assists
- Central lines
- Airway support
- Behavioral health de-escalation
- Rapid infuser operation
- Resuscitation
