Description:
The emergency department is a fast-paced environment.
There are 28 beds available in the unit.
The staff consists of 19 members working the day and night shifts.
Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 5 registered nurses, 1 triage, 1 medic, and 1 ultrasound technician.
Night shift includes the same staffing configuration.
Patient ratios are 1:4.
The unit is equipped with ventilators and Baxter IV pumps.
The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech Expanse.
Top skills recruited for include patient experience and emergency response.
Candidates are preferred to have TNCC certification.
Common procedures performed in the unit include intubation and central line placements.
The ideal candidate is a team player and is flexible.
Rotating weekends are required.
