Description:
Nights, 12-hour shifts, 1900 - 0730, including weekends and holidays.
Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.
Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Daily census is approximately 140 patients.
The Emergency Department provides comprehensive emergency care to a high number of patients annually.
It serves as a critical entry point to the health system, working to rapidly stabilize patients for admission or transfer across the broader continuum of care.
The department is designated as a Level IV Trauma Center and an Acute Stroke Ready Center.
It has been recognized as a Pediatric Ready Emergency Department.
The department includes 40 exam rooms and additional vertical care spaces, with the ability to flex more exam rooms to meet surges in demand and maintain efficient patient flow.
The team coordinates closely with ambulance services to provide seamless care for critically ill and injured patients.
Nursing and tech staff serve as the hospital's rapid response team, delivering emergent assessment and intervention throughout the facility.
Floating may be required as needed.
Minimum experience: Inpatient RN travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty they are submitting to.
Travelers have two attempts to pass the telemetry exam, with strict passing criteria.
Failing to meet the established criteria may result in cancellation of the assignment.
