**Job Description:**
- Are you an experienced ER RN ready to make a difference?
- We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual for a rewarding opportunity in our Emergency Room.
- Work day shifts with flexible hours:
- 6a-6p
- 8a-8p.
- Bring your expertise and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in providing exceptional patient care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Utilize the nursing process to care for patients while collaborating with a dedicated team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques and policies.
- Document patient care in accordance with standards of care.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance within the department.
- Provide clinical expertise and support for patients’ longitudinal care plans.
- Employ critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and optimal experience, escalating issues as needed.
- Engage in the professional nursing continuum and peer review process.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience.
- Valid WI RN Licensure.
- Required certifications:
- BLS (AHA Provider level)
- ACLS (AHA Provider level)
- PALS (AHA Provider level)
- NIHSS
- TNCC or TNS.
- Weekend rotation is expected.
