Description:
The Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment that treats a variety of patient cases.
Emergency Department nurses manage critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes.
Patients in the Emergency Department range from those needing urgent care, including simple procedures, to psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients.
Nurses will coordinate and deliver care to patients with complex nursing care needs to ensure the highest level of safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience.
