Are you a passionate and skilled RN looking for an engaging opportunity in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our Northwest FSED team!
- Location: 13725 Northwest Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78410
- Unit Details:
- Number of Beds: 15
- Patient Ratios: 1:4 depending on acuity
- Type of Equipment: Baxter pumps, Hamilton vents, GE cardiac monitors, Stryker stretchers
- EMR System: Meditech
- Staff Details:
- Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM - 3 RNs & 1 EMT-P or Nurse Extern
- Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM - 3 RNs & 1 EMT-P
- Typical Procedures:
- Splinting, wound care, IV-starts
- Medication administration
- Assessments and re-assessments
- Documentation and oversight of EMT-Ps
- Ideal Candidate:
- Must Have: Compassion, Sense of Urgency, Team Player
- Skills in rapidly identifying Sepsis, STEMI, Stroke, and Trauma
- Preferred: Experience with airway management/ventilators
- Strong Critical Thinking Skills
- Required Certifications:
- BLS
- ALS
- TNCC
- CPI or equivalent
- PALS or ENPC
- Schedule:
- Every other weekend
- No on-call duties
- Dress Code:
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue (No hoodies)
- Unit Guidelines:
- Must clock out for lunch breaks and communicate with the CNC
